Packed to the brim with joy

So this week was pretty packed the the brim with joy. Yesterday we had just a ton of tiny miracles that really helped us know that we really are on the Lords errand. So first off on our bus ride home from Turku we sat by a man who was about our age. He was listening to music and so it took us a couple of attempts to finally get his attention but we finally did and we had a pleasant conversation with him about him moving out for the first time. Forty minutes later we were best of friends and we are planning on hopefully meeting soon if he comes back to Rauma. Then as we got off the bus one of our investigators passed us on his bike so we yelled out to him and got to talk to him for a minute about his recent trip to Vietnam. Later in the day on our way home from our lesson we passed a guy at a bus stop who looked familiar so we turned around and biked back to him and he turned out to be a guy who we did some service for on Christmas. Anyways it was wonderful to get to see the Lords hand guiding us to people that we needed to meet.

New Year!

Hello to all,

I must apologize for the lack of emails over the Christmas season but as one might guess we were busy doing things and quiet frankly just enjoying Christmas. Anyways this week we are heading to the mission home for Elder Englund's new missionary conference. It just be super fun but as a result of that we have to leave soon for travel. Anyways this week we were able to have a lesson with our one investigator who is working at the nearby nuclear power plant. She is very genuine and has come to church a couple of times. She has a problem with smoking so we have been trying to help her with that. We taught her a lesson about the Atonement and how through Christ we can overcome anything. We read a couple of scriptures and our bishop shared and experience that really helped her put it into place. This week we also were able to attend our zone conference and it was wonderful. The conference really made up for the 3 hour bus ride we took at 6 in the morning. We went over and discussed about the enabling power of the Atonement and how it can help us in our day to day missionary work. I loved it. Well that is about all I have time for this week.
